Giggle Wiggle

What a fun day today is! Adam and I have been really focusing on Law of Attraction *stuff* over the past couple of days – and here’s the lovely results of being “tuned in, tapped in, turned on”:

It is snowing, yes, it’s April 15th, and we are in the middle of a snow storm. It’s soooooooooooooooooooooooooo beautiful outside!

We decided to go grocery shopping for the week. We never shop on the weekends, too many people. Anyways, we went to BJ’s and Adam found a dollar on the floor. YAY! Just a little wink from the Universe.

We went to Hannaford. We walked up to the deli counter… on a Sunday…. And no one was there. We had 3 deli counter people helping us! HOW COOL! Then when it came time for checkout, we walked right up to an empty lane.

On the drive home, we were laughing over how even though it’s Sunday, in the middle of a snow storm, we had a great time shopping, and little fun things happened. Then I did the Giggle Wiggle. Sort of like the Happy Dance, but I was driving, so it was the Giggle Wiggle.

Just wanted to share in our JOY!

Peace & Blessings!

PS: we're off to our jacuzzi to catch snowflakes on our tongues!

Calvin & Hobbes

I am finding this hilarious at the moment! I made a stand on the back, so it stands up by itself. It's for my desk at work - keeps things in perspective.

Because you can't read it from the picture:

Calvin: You know what I've noticed, Hobbes? Things don't bug you if you don't think about them.

So from now on, I simply won't think about anything I don't like, and I'll be happy all the time!

Hobbes: Don't you think that's a pretty silly and irresponsible way to live?

Calvin: What a pretty afternoon.

Doing the Happy Dance!

I watched part of a DVD program today. In it, the person speaking was talking about how fun it is when numbers line up. Example: you look at the clock and it is 11:11, or your odometer reads 888, and so forth. I found this synchronistic because almost everyday I look at a digital clock at 11:11. It’s become a joke in house especially on weekends, because Adam is home for it when I see 11:11 on the DVR, or computer screen, or whatever and yell “11:11! It’s 11:11!” I’ve always referred to this as God winking at me.

Back to my story: So, on this DVD program, the person speaking is talking about such occurrences. I’m smiling, that knowing kind of smiling. This person is saying that when something like that happens, you know that you are “tuned in, tapped in, turned on”; in other words, you’re in the flow………. When… I look at the DVR and it said……… 5:55!

I was compelled at that moment to do the Happy Dance! Seriously, at that moment, I was in such JOY with the FUN of it all, I Happy Danced!

Ladybug Fun

I *think* I saw the idea for this on SplitCoastStampers.com. Too cute! It’s hard to tell from the photo – but I added eyelashes.

Peace & Blessings!

PS – This evening, Adam and I agreed that the best perk of being an adult is: You can have whatever you want for dinner, without reprimand from your parents. What did we have to dinner tonight? I can’t tell, both sets of parents read this blog!

TAGs

I've had some requests for more pictures of my stamping room. Here's my workspace:

I belong to a yahoo group where everyone is a demonstrator for The Angel Company. We "TAG" each other with cards. It's super fun because I'm always surprised with cards from perfect strangers when I go to my post office box. I made a bunch of TAGs this evening.

Peace & Blessings!

PS - when I came upstairs I found Adam and Merlin on the futon. I apologize for the poor photo quality - the lighting wasn't so great, but I just had to capture the moment!

This is easily my new favorite set. I’ve been making bookmarks out of it lately, but soon I’ll do something bigger, and post it here.

A Tale of 2 Funnies

1. This evening, Adam and I were on the couch talking. Apollo was draped across a dining room chair, looking at us, and his tail was hanging over one edge.

I said “Apollo” and his tail danced.
“Car” tail twitch
“Cat” tail twitch
“Apollo” tail dance
“Chair” tail twitch
“Adam” tail twitch
“Alison” tail twitch
“Apollo” tail dance

And on I went. Adam and I just howled! He would react to every word I said with a slight tail twitch, but when I said his name, his tail would do a little dance. We had never noticed that before.

Adam pointed out – “Like what they said on The Secret, pets are great for putting you in a good mood.”

2. Yesterday, at the office, a 5 year old girl was spending some time with us. She had to go to the bathroom, which she announced. She ran into the bathroom, left the door open, and then was pretty quiet for a while. (From my desk, I cannot see into the bathroom, thankfully.) I heard her lightly banging her feet against the toilet bowl, so I was half aware of where she was and what she was doing, but more focused on work…............. Until….............. from the bathroom, in a sweet 5 year old voice..........…. I heard….........

“Hallelujah! Hallelujah!”

I had all I could do NOT to howl with laughter! She could hear me after all. I truly think that is one of the funniest things I’ve ever heard in my life! I’m still laughing, and still telling the story to everyone.

Peace & Blessings!

Intuitive Hiccup

On my way to work, I take a right out of the driveway. Usually.

Today, I was at the end of the driveway, and I got an intuitive hit to take a left.

I took a right. I guess I needed a reminder to always, ALWAYS listen to my intuition.

I made it a ½ mile from the office, and there were fire trucks, ambulances, police cars, lights flashing, and people in the road re-directing traffic. So, instead of going straight the final ½ mile, I had to take a right. Do not pass go, do not collect $200.

So I took the right, and thought “I know I’ve driven this road, but I can’t remember where it goes.” I think I drove a couple miles, and there was a road that I could take a left onto. I thought “well, this could work”. Long, long story short – I ended up taking a 15 minute detour around the backside of Saratoga and Skidmore College. I ended up in downtown Saratoga Springs. Ok, no problem.

So, I head up route 50, and take a left onto route 9 to get to the office. (if I had originally taken a LEFT out of my driveway, this is where I would have ended up).

Traffic is stop & go, and I’m 2+ miles from the office. No fire trucks, no ambulances, lights flashing – just police cars and people in the road re-directing traffic.

I had to talk to the traffic man – my office is BEFORE the school, not after. Please let me through. He did. Thankfully.

There was a fire. Someone’s house burned. I feel so much for the family. Fire is devastating!

My point to this blog entry is this: ALWAYS, always I need to listen to my intuition. If I had, I wouldn’t have detoured around Saratoga, and would have saved 15+ minutes of drive time. Lesson learned.

Peace & Blessings!

Old Friend

I had to try out this new tri-fold technique that I spotted on SplitCoastStampers.com. What do you think? It's for my friend Jen - this stamp set was made for her!
