Is Less....... More?

Ok... ok.... I know that since Valentines Day (ie: the day we got the Wii); I've only posted 2 things I've actually made.

In reality, I've busted out 27 cards!

Part of my challenge to myself was: Is less, more?

I, very quickly, and with huge amounts of enthusiasm, have a tendency to try to incorporate every tool, embellishment, coloring technique - everything in my studio into a card.

My back to the basics cards; simple & clean:

I usually shy away from so much white, but I like this!

It's hard to tell, but there are 3 seashells - pastel chalk doesn't show up well in this photo.

When I started stamping, I got 3 Asian sets. Time to use them!

It was all I could do NOT to color in each letter a different color! End result - I like it.

I don't use vellum enough - oops, there I go again with my "how can I use EVERYTHING in my studio" mentality!

This is an ol' faithful design for me - I love the falling snowflakes!

First graduation card I've made.

The "sparkle" was done with sparkle mod podge (my absolute FAVORITE way to add sparkles to anything). The background was done with Perfect Pearls - the camera couldn't pick up the shimmer.

Now that you've seen a few cards - what do you think?

IS LESS, MORE?

Peace & Blessings!

I love simple cards...I also love complex cards! I think it all depends on what you're after at that moment. When I need to fill a box of cards for the troops, I'll make a lot of less-is-mores.... :) Yours are very nice!
